Re: AE to C4D

Hi Paul,
your script is absolutely brilliant. One question I have is, is the script capable of saving and importing SCALE values of ie a layer from AR to C4D? If not, are there any possible workarounds?

Many thanks,
Nino

CompName from spreadsheet

Hi, I was wondering if anybody can help. I have a project with 10 comps in it. Is it possible to change the name of the individual comps via a spreadsheet? So for example when I open the project the comps are called 1 - 10 and after applying a script I would like them to be called a - j? Any help is...

Re: align layers along a path

Hi Koby,

thanks for your help, it's working a treat. I was wondering if there is a way to auto orient my layers along the path (ie a spiral). I've auto orientated the Null to move along the path, but my layers wont follow (neither when I set all my layers to auto orient) :(

Thank you,
Nino

align layers along a path

Hi, I am trying to align an n-amount of layers (ie 10) to distribute themselves along a path I have drawn in Illustrator. Now I know you can copy a path for Illustrator into a mask and then copy the mask into the layer's position property, but is there a way to automatically distribute my layers equ...

text and layer size

Hi, Iam trying to link text to the width scale of a layer, so that no matter how many characters I type in the text layer the width of a solid underneath automatically adjust itself so the text appears centred in a box having the same margins left and right. If anybody can help that would be greatly...

hi jovial,

i think what you are trying to achieve can be done by trapcode particular.

set up a grid and for "Layer RGB usage" use the lightness velocity option.

a grayscale image can therefore drive your layers offset in z-space. hope it

makes sense
