AE ENHANCERS

Thanks Paul. I played with the camera technique for a while but couldn't come up with that solution. I was close, but no dice. As usual, a brilliantly simple answer! Thanks for the script as well.

Hey Paul! The reason I was stabilizing & de-stabilizing was to do a mesh warp on a face, not composite layers with it. The 3D camera technique isn't really working because I am applying the Mesh Warp effect to the stabilized comp so turning the camera on within that comp allows the warp to slip ...

Thanks Paul, but the new way sounds just fine. Hadn't run across that technique yet bit it makes sense and is more up my alley. No math... for me!

Autotrace works great! Now I have one other challenge that I'm not sure is solveable. For my effect, I need to duplicate the Mask that autotrace created and shift it to the left or right a few pixels. I've highlited all Mask Shape keyframes and moved the mask but it only moves it on the current keyf...

Here's a challenge (I think)! Is it even possible to have AE create animated masks that are generated by visible edges? I'll try to clarify. I'm using the Reshape effect in AE to warp certain elements in a shot to new positions. Reshape uses two masks and animates the shape of the pixels within them...
