Read X/Y position from a .txt -file

Can AE read from a database (or a simple textfile) ?

The problem:
I´ve got a text file with coordinates in it. In every new line is a new one. e.g.

50.2342
50.2343
50.2343

Is is possible for AE to read this numbers and use it for an expression?
e.g. read every second a new coordinate and use it as x-position of an object.
