Ensuring comp is shown during rendering

Hi,
Perhaps this can't be achieved in Script, but I am having an issue with After Effects only showing a tiny window of the comp when automating many renders using script, i.e. AE is to fast and you can't preview what is being rendered. If there is a way to ensure comp window is kept intact and updated when rendering, let me know.
Perhaps some Script that would ensure the window was fully maximised for every render?
I should note that this issue is happening while I am generating video/stills using a wrapper from an external software, but even so, all is happening is that I am scripting the creation and rendering of each instance, and I do not see why the window should be tiny. This is also an issue in Photoshop, but it seems to vary from PC to PC.
