Hi,

I'm trying to do some layers follow each other, like a "train". Parenting isn't the solution because the start and end layer's disposition isn't the same. Each layer is different and they must rotate along the motionpath they follow. I've done that manually by copying the path to each other and then adjusting the path to be as close as possible as the other paths, same for the rotation, but I think this is an expression thing.

Has anyone an idea on how to do that ?

Thanks,

Salvador

You should find this page useful:

I think the last three examples are what you're looking for.

Thanks, I had been on you're page but hadn't seen the trails chapter.

One more question : when I use the orient along path option, rotation is a bit jerky. Is there a "smooth" option to that ? I think this is an "expression thing" again.

Thanks,

Salvador

I'm not sure what you mean. I think I'd have to see your project. I'd be happy to take a look at it if you want to send it (you can use the email link on my site).
