More precision in timeline

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to reduce the number of digits used to compose the frame numbers in the time bar.

At present After Effects uses 5 digits to compose frame numbers: 00001, 00002,....

Although, in a compo of 100 frames would be enough:
001, 002, ..., 100

I'm using After Effects for animation and for timing my poses I often need to know exatcly the frame position of the key of my current pose, the one of the previous and the next one.

Having so many digits can be very unhandy in certain situations.

e.g.:
When I zoom into my 100 frames long compo to just see the first 30 frames I'll only see the numbers and (the more important thing for me) the ruler marks of the frames 00001, 00006, 00011, ...

I would like to have at least the ruler marks for every frame without having to zoom into the time line at 100 %.
Because this way, I wouldn't see a lot of frames of my animation anymore.

Is there an option in After Effects or is there a script or a plug-in to do this?

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Cheers,

Stefan

This isn't possible I'm afraid. I had a look through the AE text prefs, which is the only place you'd likely find something that would make this kind of fundamental change to the app, but I couldn't find anything.
