Is there a command to enable/disable preserve RGB on a footage item? Couldn't find it in the AECS3/CS4 scripting guides, anywhere on the forums, as well as on google.

Thanks

There's nothing in the FootageSource object section of the CS6 scripting guide, which is where I'd expect to find it if it had been implemented.

Depending on what you're trying to do, you may be able to come up with a workaround by saving a project with placeholders set to the two different options, then use these to replace footage into. There's a good chance that setting will be retained when you do this. Quite a fiddly workaround though.

Thanks for the response Paul. I was really hoping not to have to do a secondary project import, but at least it confirmed my suspicions about not being able to change it directly.

Thanks again,

Does anyone know if this has been changed in the last few years?

Thanks,

Dan
