Hi I have a project browser running in After Effects, but I would only like it to run if the machine has a list of fonts and render presets avaliable, otherwise I want to alert the user what is missing so they have to install it to be able to run the project browser.

Is it possible to check if a font/ preset exists?

Hi Jorgen,

I'm actually looking into the same problem.  Did you ever find a solution to this?  Basically, I'm trying to apply a font from a preset file.  It doesn't crash if the font isn't there, it just doesn't apply the right font.  So I'm looking to give the user some feedback that a font that the script was looking for wasn't available and a alternate was used.
