i thought this was going to be so simple but can't for the life of me work it out

I'm writing a little script that looks at a layers source footage file (all videos) and then moves the layer to that point in the comp, basically aligning in time to where the footage was originally rendered.

all is dandy but I can not find anyway of reading the footage source starting time, i can get name, duration, frame rate, loop counts... everything but not the display start and it's driving me nuts...

any help greatly appreciated
