Close a Dockable Panel

Hi everyone.
I think have worked this in every way I know possible without finding any thing.
I want to close my Dockable Panel with my script.
I created a script that I put in Script UI Panel. It does some checks over the computer and, depending on the results, I want it to continue or close. But I can't find any way to close it! when I try "this.type" I get "panel" but I can't find any way to close or hide this.
