Split text layer per character

There is a script here that will take a series of words and make 3D layers out of each word.
May be you could use this...?

no, thats not what i need
that script generates random words, what i need is a 'text layer splitter'

But there is a text layer from file version.
You could simply type in a file a letter on each line and the script would make it for you.
But I guess...nah, no reason to try that...

If you need the resulting text layout to be the same as the original line of text you may need to do something similar to my SSA Karaoke Animator script, where each layer contains the full text and uses Range Selectors to set the opacity to 0% for the other letters.
