Create New Adjustment Layer or Solid Over Selected Layers.

Hi all,
It would be really handy with a script that did the following:
1. Create a new adjustment layer over the current selected layer/layers in the timeline.
2. The new layer should have the same size as the comp, and the same in/out points as the selection.
3. It should be placed above the selected layers.
The script could be made as a small palette and have one button for creating adjustment layers and another for Solids.
