precomposing whith other size as the main comp

Hello people, first of all, sorry about my bad english, I am from Argentina (very south america).
Well, here comes my question, how can I precomp layers without the same size as the main comp?.

I'm just going through the forum replying to unanswered posts. Let me know if you still need help with this, and if possible can you give a bit more information on exactly you wanted to do.
