paint path to sequence, like SequenceLayers from nabscripts

hello, im looking for a way to animate paintstrokes. i have try it with animated strokes, but the problem is, it is difficult to see what i am doing -because ae jumps always back to the start time.
i think the best way to do the job is:
paint the strokes, set an standardanimation for end (1-100 in maybe 2 seconds) for all strokes and then sequence the strokes also for 2 seconds. or, as the better way, set the same value for animation and sequence.
is there a script that will do that or something of this? or is there an build in way to solve that problem? any other ideas?
