I work in the video slot industry and deal with a lot of comps that are almost exactly the same except for the credit amount. Often times we'll have to add an image that goes as the top layer on all comps(I'm talking 90-200 comps) after the fact when the higher ups want to see something added.

So my question is:
Is there a way to add a layer to multiple comps? Is there a script or something that could do this? I'm sick of opening a comp, importing the image, adding it to the top layer, saving, and then collecting files(for batch render). I have to do this more than you'd think, a script like this would be a life saver.

this can be very easily done with scripting.. if you give more detail as to exactly what you need accomplished.. i could probably whip something up for you..

Did anything ever come of this?

I've got hundreds of comps that I need to add frame counters to. I was thinking that I could create one really long comp with just the frame counter in it and then have it pasted into all the other comps.

Any help much appreciated.
