That destabilization slider works great. That's exactly what I was looking for. You rock to hard it's not even funny!
That's awesome, really.
Thanks a lot.

That's it!
That's totally cool! I just hate when I'm working away and somehow a layer gets shifted or I accidentally hit + or - and rotate a layer. This prevents all of that and let's me work without having to be all gingerly. Especially in 7 ... the intface is slow so I always end up moving a layer instead of...

Lock property script
This script would read the settings of property selected, copy them and paste them into an expression, therefore locking the poperty.
If position is 960,540 the expression written would simply be [960,540]
Ideally this would be a pallet with options to lock all or selected properties.

Stabilization Reducer
I'm trying to create an expression that nullifies a stabilization by use of a slider. I'd like the footage to start normal then slowly blend in the stabilization. I tried creating a null and making that the parent with an expression that is driven from the stabilized layer multiplied by a negative s...

Lock properties script
I need a script to lock individual properties of a layer with expressions. The script would simply take the property of layer and make it an expression. ie: Property = [540,960] Rotation = [0] ... and so on with all properties of the layer. Ideally, if this script had a popup window with radio butto...

Destabilize Layer script
I use the Destabilize Layer script all the time and it's great. Except that I need an intermediate comp between the destab and the stab comps. Can someone alter this script so it does that? Destab comp ---> build/work comp ---> stabilized comp As it is now I have to copy and paste those expressions....

I don't know why but it didn't work the first time I tried but works great now.
Thanks again.

I still can't get it to work
Here's the code I'm using. I added you code but still can't get it to work. { // This script will create an Adjustment layer in the activeComp. // The adjstment layer will have Levels effect and ... // // // note: This script is using matchName so that this script can work with localized build. // v...

Unless I'm missing something ...
Why wouldn't you just set that module to be the default? Now any render item has that module and no need for a script.
If there is a reason you aren't doing this how about this, use the command line renderer and tell it to use whichever module you want.

There's a much simpler solution
On OSX I've written a crontab that simply makes the computer say, "Time to save your project." You can make this occurr as often as you want. I run it every hour. It actually works for me. I get so into working that I forget to save then all of a sudden a voice anounces, "Time to save...

Adjust Levels Script
I've altered the Cineon Converter Adj layer script to create a Gamma check layer, but I can't get it to set the Gamma to 5. Everything else works great except this part. Here's what I've tried and doesn't work: levels.property("Levels-0004").setValue(5); levels.property("Levels-0004&q...

Update
I've now discovered that the ram preview will work fine ... as expected if you only touch the zero key on the 10 key pad. As long as I start and stop the preview here ... everythings fine. Weird.

Loss of Ram Preview
Does anyone know why a ram preview will get lost on a Mac when you stop it? On a PC, (I've never been a big PC fan) you can ram up a preview ... do what you want and come back when it's done. On the Mac when I do this the display is whacked out ... all white, but is running the preview. When I click...
