Is there a fast way to remove all keyframes from many layers' transform properties at once -- like "Remove Text Animators" but for regular layers?
(I have a thousand nulls from a C4D export that all need their animation stripped out)

Lloyd, are you saying Multiplane has "fit and face" functionality?

Burn-in name of layer name/source file?
Is there a script that can automatically display the name of layer or the source file? In order to keep track of what shots are being used where, I'd like to burn in the name of the layer or source file that's currently on-screen. It would be helpful in tracking 3D render versions and different take...

Re: Trimming pre-comp in/out points in place
I found a two-step solution to this: Apply Un-Precompose plug-in to bring my pre-comp layer back into the comp. http://aescripts.com/un-precompose/ Then I applied rd:_pre-compose to trim it down. (or as I like to call it, "time crop") http://aescripts.com/rd-pre-compose/ And someone in the...

Trimming pre-comp in/out points in place
I'm having this problem.
Any script that can trim this in place? rd_Pre-compose can do this, but it requires precomping.

Fit and Face 3D layer perfectly to comp
I've been a big fan of Zaxwerks Layer Tools. But it must be a low priority plug-in for him as it's still not CS5 compatible. Paul's Multiplane replicates most of Layer Tool's Z-Distribution. But I haven't found a replacement for the Fit & Face plug in. It takes any 3D layer and aligns it perfect...

What new functionality does AE CS5.5 offer scripters?
In semi-understandable plain English, what are some of the new scripting improvements in AE CS5.5? What kind of enhancements might we see with current scripts?

Turn off visibility of all guide layers?
Is there a script that can help me turn off the eyeball for guide layers? Or perhaps just delete all guide layers from a comp. I have some some old projects with numerous missing elements. But the guide layers display as the usual "missing" color bars, so I have a hard time determining wha...

Quickly link layers to C4D exported nulls.
So I have a set of nulls created in Cinema 4D. When import them into AE, I have to manually expand each AE's layer position, rotation, and scale properties and pickwhip link each AE layer's Postion, Rotation and Scale to each Null's Position, Scale and Rotation so it aligns in the scene's 3D space c...

Change Expression reference from relative to absolute?
I swear I've seen this before, but I can't think of the name.
Heard of a script that changes an expression's relative references (thisComp / thisLayer) to absolute ( Comp("MyComp").layer("MyLayer.mov") )?

Re: Crop Layer Sets
Hey Paul .. Getting it again. Using CS5 now.
I've attached the project file.
I'm trying to run Layer Crop on each of the precomps (Eyes & Mouth) in the main comp. And I'm getting that 'line 110' error.

Divide comp layers evenly based on length of comp
I swear I've seen a script that will evenly trim and sequence a number of layers so they are all the same length based on the comp's total length.

Never mind. These are not the droid you are looking for.
I found Lloyd Alvarez' "Trim to Layer Above / Trim to Layer Below" scripts.
