Thanks! I set up an actual feature list for v2 in the original "making of" thread...

Re: Track Averging alteration?
TrackerViz v2 Wish List 1 - dockable! :) 2 - checkbox for leaving the mask open, not closed, when using the "to Shape" functions. 3 - create the mask points at the Attach Point instead of what appears to be the Feature Center when using the "to Shape" functions. 4 - A "Corn...

Re: Enhance tracking by scaling corner pin
Are you just using the slider or actually typing a number in? I know sometimes in AE the sliders stop at a certain number, but if you click the number and type it in yourself, it will do much more. Just a thought. You've probably tried it already.

Re: TrackerViz for After Effects
Maybe next version. It's definitely been noted. I would love to see that, as well.

Re: Enhance tracking by scaling corner pin
If you use the CC Corner Pin, which ships and installs with AE, you can do this same thing. It has it built in.

Re: TrackerViz for After Effects
It does combine tracks, actually. If you watch the 2nd tutorial, you will see what it does (I can't remember if I use it in the 3rd one or not). It does not average multiple tracks, or bake out a set of keyframes, it takes a track (or any layer with position data) that is parented to another layer w...

Re: Track Averging alteration?
brooklyn over at SimplyCG brought to my attention a small bit of functionality that could use some altering for v2.0. When using the Tracker to Shape function, TrackerViz creates the mask points at what appears to be the Feature Center, not the Attach Point. Is it possible to have it use the Attach ...

Re: Track Averging alteration?
Wow! That's awesome! I mean, it's not awesome that you can't download it, it's awesome that this thing is popular enough to run out nab's bandwidth!! He hasn't checked in here in a while, I hope he notices it. In the meantime, tonight when I get home, I will post TrackerViz to my own website for dow...

Re: Create Masks from Edges
use AutoTrace on the mattes, then use the masks it generates for your Reshape. If you haven't used AutoTrace, check it out in the manual. Its pretty cool.

Re: Track Averging alteration?
Naturally, some people asked if it works in AE 7.0. I said I didn't know, and they tried it. Apparently, it doesn't. But then, once they precomposed the footage, it DID work!
Just recording a log here, for future reference.

Re: AI To Mask?
A thought occured to me for a script idea, perhaps there is something like this already around. Basically track a bunch of points on the moving figure in the footage. then write a script to connect the track points to make an animated closed mask around the figure. Yep, there's is something like th...

Re: Track Averging alteration?
Hey nab, There seems to be a bug with the Shape to Layers function. If you watch the 3rd tutorial I made, you can see me run into the problem in there. Tutorials are here: http://www.aenhancers.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1070 EDIT: Disregard this post. The layer I rotoed on just needed to be set to...

Re: Track Averging alteration?
Something else I was thinking of today on my way to work, for a potential version 2.0. Maybe a "Corner Pin" selection in the drop down menu. Like, you would select 4 layers with positional data, pick the Corner Pin option, then run it, and it would create a new solid layer with the corner ...
