I'm trying to find out if anyone knows of a script that replicates a certain Cinema 4D behaviour. In C4D, when you import an image into a material, it asks you whether you want to create a copy of the image at the project location. So in AE terms that would mean I would get an alert asking me if I want to place a copy of the selected image into the same folder (at the finder level) as the AE project (or a specified folder). This would be massively handy since I have a large collection of stock images on a separate drive and currently I have to manually move the file into place if I want everything to tie together nicely.
If such a script does not in fact exist, it's something I'd be happy to pay for over on AEscripts.
