I have a comp in my render queue. I need to duplicate this comp, and put it in the render queue with the same render settings and ouput module as the original comp.

So I take my original comp, save a template of the render settings and output module, and then apply this new template to the new comp.

However, this adds many new templates to After Effects, which I only need temporarily to duplicate my settings. Is there some way to delete a template through scripting? Or possible a way to duplicate my render item but use the new composition instead?
